Danielle V. Dolan, Founder & Principal

Danielle V. Dolan founded ClimateThrive Community Strategies in 2023 as a mission-driven consulting firm.

After more than twenty years in the nonprofit environmental sector, Dolan was frustrated by the conventional approach to community planning she witnessed from consulting firms, as well as the funding and capacity limitations of NGOs trying to do this work.

She started ClimateThrive to forge a better path forward: one that centers environmental justice, addresses social vulnerability, and uplifts local cultural contexts. Dolan has experience living and working in diverse geographies, on a wide range of projects and initiatives. She has a track record of effectively mobilizing partnerships to engage on statewide policy initiatives, advance watershed planning, and implement local climate resilience projects.
